Google Disavow Links Tool: Procedure to Use it

Google has finally announced their much awaited ‘Google Disavow Links Tool’ on October 16, 2012. Google’s spam team Head, Matt Cutts officially announced its launch at Pubcon conference and has believed that it would help webmasters for saving their websites from links which can harm their search engine presence.

Matt Cutts warned webmasters to use this tool with caution after they have tried unsuccessful attempt to remove the bad links manually.
What you need to do?
Submit all the links to be disavowed in a text file to Google via this tool.
Format of the Google Disavow Links Tool text file:
If you want to make some comment to Google then start your line with # tag, Google considers it as comment. When you want to disavow all the links from a particular domain, then you can use domain:xyz.com instruction. And, when you want to disavow link from a particular page then simply mention the url of that page. For clear understanding, go through below sample.

Procedure to use Google Disavow Links Tool:
- Go to the link mentioned above to Disavow links.
- Choose your website for which you want to disavow links, then click red ‘Disavow Links’ button.
- Next screen will ask for the confirmation, click Disavow links.
- Choose the text file with links to be disavowed and click Done.
Your links will be disavowed by the Google within several weeks. Now feel free against negative SEO.
